Brian Wiksell

Brian Wiksell founded Symplectic Capital LLC in 2016 as an independent registered investment advisor.

His career in the capital markets began in 2001 at Cargill, where he worked as an intern and later as an analyst supporting the commodities trading floor. He went on to manage private investments for 11 years at Professors Capital and led acquisitions for five years at FIG Advisors before shifting his focus toward Symplectic.  

He holds a BS in Information Systems from Iowa State University and an MA in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He briefly attended the full-time MBA Program at the University of Chicago. 

He was admitted to the Mega Society in 2007 and has served as its Administrator since 2019.
